Nestled in Thousand Oaks, California among the majestic trees and peaceful hills, Sound Practitioner Serina Wolfe will guide you into a safe space of soothing sounds with the use of, hand hammered Tibetan bowls, Paiste Planetary Gong and other various sound instruments.
All levels of meditators are welcome. It doesn’t matter if you have never meditated before or have been practicing for years. Sound meditation is one of the easiest ways to take you on a journey for a deep healing of relaxation and detoxification. Each sound experience is different. Serina tunes into the people who are at the event to get a sense of their needs. Playing from her heart, being conscious as possible and feeling the sounds. A brief discussion and a guided meditation will start before the sound bath begins.
What is sound meditation and its benefits?
Gongs and Tibetan bowls were among the first instruments to be made and played by humans. Sound meditation is to harmonize, promote balance, enhance creativity, uncover feelings, stimulate growth, detox and foster internal equilibrium.
Sound also helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state by using entrainment.
This allows the body to go into a deep meditative state very easily without much effort from you. Entrainment synchronizes our fluctuating brainwaves (thoughts) by providing a stable frequency, which the brainwave can attune to. Another words, it helps us relax without having to think about relaxing, so the mind, body and spirit can find its true self again and be at peace.
